Wordpress Plugins - Meaning, Installation and Deactivation Process

Plugins are the small but of software that can be uploaded to expand and extend the functionality of WordPress Site. 

Now, let us look on to its installation process, and the following are the steps -

1. Search and Install Plugins from WordPress Dashboard

2. Upload External Plugins from WordPress Dashboard

3. Manual Installation via FTP

After installing the Plugin, one can easily delete or deactivate plugins by the following process -

  1. Go to your WordPress Dashboard
  2. Keep your mouse over the 'Plugin' field
  3. Now, click the 'Installed Plugin'
  4. Now an installed plugin window will appear and here we have the list of plugins that we have already installed.
  5. Finally, click on 'Deactivate' and we can delete only the deactivated plugin. In some plugins, you have a direct 'Uninstall' option. For Example - SEO Ultimate.

S teps to follow 1. Open Google Chrome from your Laptop/PC. 2. Type YouTube on the Google Search Engine and press Enter . 3. Click on the first one. 4. L et us create a website using WordPress via Pro Free Host. Following are the steps one by one - 1. Open Google Chrome from your Laptop/Computer. 2. Type Pro Free Host on the Google Search Engine and press Enter. 3. Click on the first one. 4. You can see a screen like this after clicking the first one. 5.
