How to Integrate Google Analytics on WordPress Blog

There are different steps to add your website to Google Analytics and following are the steps below -

  1. To create Google Analytics Account, go to https://www.google.com/analytics/
  2. Login to your Gmail Account
  3. After login, you will be redirected to the next page to start setting up your Google Analytics Account and get the tracking code of your website. You will be given choice between a website or Mobile App. Ensure the website is selected.
  4. Now, you have successfully completed setting up your Google Analytics Account.
Installation Process

Google Analytics can be installed on your website as there are steps given below -

  1. Login to your WordPress Blog or Website as Admin using Admin Username and Password.
  2. Go to 'Plugin Option' which is on the left-hand side of the 'Dashboard'.
  3. In the search bar, type 'SEO Ultimate' as you will find the plugin suggested for your search. Click on 'Install Now' button.
  4. After this, you will be redirected to a screen below -



5. Click on the 'Activate Plugin' option to activate your Plugin.


6. After activation, in the dashboard left-hand side menu bar, you will be able to see the 'SEO' menu as shown below -


7. Hover the SEO menu to check for the 'Code Inserter' option (see above) in this plugin. Then click on 'Code Inserter' to insert Google Analytics tracking code as shown


8. You will be redirected to the Code Inserter section, where you have four sections as shown above.

9. Copy-Paste tracking code on footer shown below -


10. Now, click 'Save Changes' to save it.
11. You have successfully inserted the code on your website.
12. Verify and open your website on one browser and go back to your Google Analytics Account Dashboard and click on Real-Time and then Overview.



If you are able to see a count other than zero in 'Right Now' then you have to integrate your Google Analytics tracking code successfully.
